Haus Sonneck is beautifully situated at the top of the village on the Huttenberg.
All our apartments are modernly furnished and have a beautiful view over the woods and Braunlage.
Haus Sonneck (1910) is surrounded by a garden with a terrace. The house consists of three different floors (and basement), with 2 or 3 apartments on each floor.
Despite its quiet location, Haus Sonneck is very centrally located to get to the village. Within a short distance (200 m) are the Wurmberg ski lift, the ice rink, the indoor swimming pool, the biker park and the center of Braunlage. The forest is about 200 m away from where beautiful walks to Schierke, Elend or the old border with the GDR (about 600 m) can be taken on foot.

Welcome to Haus Sonneck
Since 2013, we (Eric and Dorien Hemelaar) are the proud (Dutch) owners of Haus Sonneck. We have completely renovated this charming country house from 1905, which has always served as a lodging address for guests, and we have been renting out our apartments since 2016. The house is highly appreciated by our guests, especially because of the location of our house.
